Looking for the perfect self-catering getaway in some of Ireland’s most beautiful countryside?
Our two quaint cottages, tucked away in the grounds of Roundwood House provide a charming bolthole from which to enjoy a romantic mini-break, quiet retreat or Irish holiday home from home.
The cottages sleep two people each and are beautifully furnished with wood burning stoves, cosy rooms and lovely secluded views.

The Forge
This open-plan, split-level accommodation occupies what used to be the old forge at Roundwood House.
Full of history, the cottage is spacious and comfortable with a fully-fitted kitchen, comfortable beds, wood-burning stove, television, Wi-Fi and washing machine.
The interiors are decked out in period furniture with attractive finishing touches and items of interest wherever you look.

The Writer's Cottage
Whether you are a would-be James Joyce or aspire to follow in the literary footsteps of Maeve Binchy, our Writer’s Cottage offers inspiration, calm and space to get started on your new novel.
Multiple seating areas, both inside and outdoors provide cosy nooks to sit with pen and paper (or laptop) and let your creativity flow.
The tiny stone cottage sits in a secluded corner of the kitchen garden at Roundwood House, offering a complete escape from the hustle and bustle of modern living.
