Roundwood Overview
- Roundwood House is an eighteenth-century Georgian country house in County Laois and a member of Hidden Ireland, a group of historic, family-run houses throughout the island of Ireland
- The main house has six bedrooms in total: three double rooms, one twin room and two triple rooms
- The Yellow House has a further four bedrooms and is opened by arrangement for family groups as overflow accommodation
- Exclusive hire is available for private groups (we do not host weddings)
- Two self-catering cottages in the grounds, each sleeping two
- Set in approximately 18 acres of woodland and meadow, with the Perimeter Walk on the estate
- Four-course dinner is available on the evenings the house is open and must be booked in advance (additional cost applies)
- Breakfast is included in the main house B&B rate and can be added for cottage guests at an extra cost
- Near the Slieve Bloom Mountains, with walks, cycling, mountain biking, horse riding, fishing and foraging all within easy reach
- Just over an hour from Dublin, and easy to reach from all parts of Ireland
