A Vintage Wedding in County Laois

To say that merely our expectations were surpassed would not do justice to how absolutely delighted we were with the way things went…”

– Billy and Olive Hanley

For over thirty years Roundwood House has been hosting weddings, each one as varied and unique as the couples themselves. An early Georgian house built in the 1730s, Roundwood is both pretty and architecturally interesting, boasting large beautifully proportioned bedrooms, warm, welcoming reception rooms and many interesting outbuildings. Situated on 18 acres of park and woodland at the foot of the unspoiled Slieve Bloom Mountains in County Laois, Roundwood is just over an hour’s drive from Dublin.

If you’re looking for an exclusive country house setting for your wedding, surrounded by those closest to you, with excellent food and wine and a complete escape from the outside world, Roundwood might just be the spot for you.
