Private Parties & Corporate Events

Family & Friend Get-Togethers

Roundwood is available for your exclusive use and is a magical backdrop for any special occasion.  Having the house to yourselves for a birthday or anniversary party, family or college reunion, allows you to fully relax and enjoy each others company.  You can kick off your shoes by the fire, sing at the top of your voices, or wander down for breakfast in your pyjamas without being judged by strangers; your family and friends already know what you’re like.

Private Hen Parties

If the thoughts of parading through Temple Bar with the nearest and dearest ladies in your life wearing bunny ears, matching t-shirts and looks of horror on their faces, sends a chill down your spine, fear not, because there is another way to celebrate your hen night. Escape to the country, make Roundwood your home and the night your own.  Arrive early and take a walk in the mountains, share a bottle of wine in front of the fire, or try something a little different and spend the afternoon knee-deep in fabric and ribbons, taking a fascinator workshop. Then, into the dining room to share a meal you’ll remember for all the right reasons, a slideshow of the embarrassing fashion moments you thought would be forgotten and before you know it, you’re in the middle of a magical memory in the making.

Corporate Meetings & Retreats

Roundwood is the perfect fit as a retreat for small/medium groups hoping to get some work done.  Removed from the clinical boardrooms that are the usual backdrop for business meetings, you’ll be amazed at how energized and creative your team can be.  Brainstorm in the Library, clear your head with a walk around the grounds, have breakout sessions in the study and drawing room, and  enjoy the delicious smells rising from the kitchen while working though the last session.  Dinner’s only a couple of hours away…

Equipment available includes a projector, large screen and 2 flip-charts. WiFi is available throughout the house.

Ten bedrooms and two cottages. The cottages can be used on a bed and breakfast basis for larger groups. For a room list click here.
