An Afternoon of Foraging with Wild Food Mary
Join Mary Bulfin, forager, chef, and lover of all good food that nature has to offer, on a wonderful walk around the grounds of Roundwood House. Collect wild foods and then gather in the library to find out their many uses as fresh ingredients but also how to preserve them, discover which mushrooms are edible (and which will invoke a long and painful death!), and learn how to make delicious liqueurs, wild garlic pesto and more.
All this to be followed by a four course meal prepared by Paddy using ingredients from the days foraging, as well as Mary’s larder. To book, call 057 87 32120 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. See you in the woods!
155 euro per person sharing, includes B&B, dinner, the forage and a few treats along the way. To reserve a place call 057 8732120 or email email@example.com
